Input from the experienced and senior members will be much appreciated.

Am yet to gather all document for my PR and my deadline date for submission is nearby.
Is it advisable that i reject my ITA and wait for another round of draws.

Their is this important note on my invitation letter

NOTE: Previous receipt of an invitation to Apply is no guarantee that you will be again invited to apply for permanent residence, so please make an informed decision.

Can someone please explain this, though I have 600 point from PNP.

Thanks

Although you can decline the ITA as you will any how receive it again in the next draw thanks to your 600 PNP points.

But think for a moment, many people are waiting for ITA since several months and here you are just wasting the ITA that was issued to you. The ITA that you are now wasting could have brought smile to somebody else.

Please be careful and considerate for others also.

Unfortunately that is not how it is working. OP of course should prioritize himself over
anybody else. In case he is certain that he will not be able to gather all the documents,
it is the best (for himself) to reject the ITA and wait for the next one. After all, he doesn't
want his application to be rejected or his ITA expires (which means he needs to recreate
the profile). In both cases the ITA will be wasted.

@DigitalDestiny is right...Point is not whether he should prioritize himself or not...point is if his score is high, he should create or activate (Job Bank) his profile only when (looking at the current ITA cutoff level) he thinks he will be ready with all required documentations for APR so that he doesn't waste/has to decline the ITA that could have benefited another eligible candidate who is agog with all his documentation ready to apply once he/she receives an ITA.

NOW whatever he/she does, he/she WILL end-up wasting a seat which someone else could have successfully utilized for his/her PR.

If we the educated lot aren't considerate towards other fellow applicants then who will? CIC definitely won't

Maybe the OP wasn't sure if he would make it or not, and just tried his luck (perfectly understandable).
And telling him that he has just "wasted" an ITA doesn't serve anything apart from making him feel bad
for nothing!

Go ahead and decline the ITA and continue preparing your documents!

for nothing! Don't we all feel bad when we do something bad to others? It is that same feeling.

Anyway not interested in wasting MY energy and time on this...especially when something bigger at stake are already wasted.

Then why you came and started "wasting" your time? I think nobody has forced you?!

I said, he might have been unsure if he could make it or not (that means there were
a chance that he could do it, but he wasn't certain). And of course he takes his
opportunity (like a sane person). That is my way of thinking and it is perfectly
understandable by me.

OP has a PNP. PNP takes several months to come - it's enough time to gather the documents considering one gets 60 days after ITA as well.

Next ITA would come in max. 15 days so if documents are still not ready OP would again reject so wasting ITA would go on. That's what @CanadaWeCome was trying to explain.

Anyways, I do not want to argue but wasting ITA just because of carelessness/laziness is not good. Wish everyone, All the best.

Well said...but tis better to leave such characters with their own community without extending the argument further...because they just don't have enough grey matter required on their top floor to internalize such stuff...Thats why i stopped the argument.

Such people feel a sense of accomplishment when they forcible (and knowingly) grab someone's share and declare their own. That's their definition of victory, so let them enjoy it.
