Hello everyone,
Please excuse me if I'm posting my question in the wrong thread or my question is not making perfect sense..
I have more than 2 years of web hosting experience, however since I've switched my employer almost an year ago, I ended up working as a "Independent Contractor"
The company I work for is actually a Canadian one, but the problem is that with the status of "independent Contractor" I'm not sure if I will be able to provide proof of my employment, as besides the contract I was sent when I initially signed with my employer, I don't have any other documents that can show my work history as a contractor, as the position is fully remote.
By official records in my country I am considered to be unemployed, however this is a full time 40hr/ week job.
So my question is: Is there a way for me to apply with my current status, or under these circumstances applying is not worth it?
Thank you,
Best regards
