Some people have mentioned having their sponsors contacting their MPs or Justice Canada to get them to expedite processing. Could anyone tell me about this or point me to a thread that does? Thanks

Even then, the MP can only inquire about the status of your file - she or he can't make the process go any faster. I don't think there is anything that can be done to expedite the processing of an application, unfortunately.
