contacting MP if you are past the VO posted timeline

Hello ! Iv had my interview back on the 8th of October in Rabat and i have been told that i should wait from 2 to 3 months for background checks to be done than issue my visa , its been 3 months now and a week and my med will expired on the 5th march . should my wife contact her MP or that would harm us anyway by another delay ? can you please help me

Contacting mp doesn't harm or delay your applications at all.
