Even if calling from within Canada if there are too many people already waiting you will hear a recording saying that they are busy and to call again later, then it will automatically hang up. All you can do is keep calling, or wait and try your call again at another time if that's the message that you're getting. Eventually you will get through, and as someone as stated already there is usually a wait of 2 to 10 minutes to talk to someone.
 
Hi, This is very important information you shared. As I use Smartgroschen for calling, so should I also make call from Smartgroschen app.

I called on this number 1 613 944 4000 and I got through after 12 minutes wait time, I want inquire about the status of my family sponsorship application after 103 days after submission, the agent telling me I have no right as principal applicant to request any information. That only sponsor or a representative allowed to request information..
any idea please,
