I have heard that now they need a Bank Draft in Canadian Dollars for $500 for individual, is this true?

Can I do a Money Order or a Cashier's Check from my bank?

I don't know about this new rule. But when I was sending my CIC-AINP file, my law firm suggested me to send fee in Canadian Dollars. I did so.

What is a 'Bank Draft'? Is this same as a Money Order?

A check drawn by one bank against funds deposited into its account at another bank, authorizing the second bank to make payment to the individual named in the draft.
