Due to some unexpected events/expenses, my savings are starting to run low and I'm considering moving back to Canada to work for a few months while my wife and her child wait in Thailand. We are ready to send off the application forms for sponsorship as well as the application for permanent residence. Should we send them before I return to Canada, or after? I'll need to inform immigration that I've returned to Canada, right?

What implications will me going back to Canada have? I believe I read that if denied from within Canada, I would have no right of appeal, which frankly terrifies me. I could be incorrect, I didn't look into that carefully since I didn't expect it to apply to me.

You won't be applying for a in-Canada spousal application as your spouse and her children will be residing overseas. Make sure you are submitting the right application and sponsorship to Mississauga. When you move you have to give CIC/CHC your new mailing address.
