Ladies/Gentlemen,
Need your advise for the situation I am in. I my wife and our son have a Landed here in Canada as a Permanent resident back in May 2010 was here for 2 1/2 months and left Canada after we got our PR cards, and after we left we were blessed with a daughter i.e born out of canada,
I came back alone to canada for good in September 2012, and left my wife and kids in my home country as our daughter didnt had a visa for canada, i learnt back then that one parent had to be in home country and a nother in canada and start the PR application for the child who was born out of canada, and so i did, came back but couldnt apply for her untill December 2012 as i was advised again to get a job first, so in November 2012 when i got a job i immediately applied for my daughters visa, i was expecting the processing to complete in 3 to 4 months, as there are no background checks or police clearance for a child that young, but it took 9 months for her processing, reason for it to take so long was that the CIC employees were on a world wide strike over salary hikes, i have even approached the Local MP for his help , but any ways.
we also have been out of canada for 40 days from dec 2014 - jan 2015
now our PR's i.e for myself, wife and son are due to expire in june 2015 , i am meeting the residency obligations i.e stay in canada for atleast 2 out of 5 years, but thats not the case with my wife and son , they are 5 months short to comply to the requirement for PR renewal.
now the question is ,
1. should i renew my pr first and let my wife and sons pr expire and try renewing them after they complete the full 2 years which would complete in November 2015 ?
2. should i wait for myself and renew all three PR cards in Nov 2015 ?
3. will my SIN card expire along with my PR card and will force to become jobless ?
4. what happens to our health cards and drivers license if the PR card expires ?
5. my wife who wants to join a collage this year to do a diploma, will she be able to apply with an expired PR card
6. my son who is in school for the last 1 year, can he continue to go to school ?
Guys please advise
Thanks
Sameer
