I am landing with my familiy next month on Permanent Residence Status through Provincial Nominee program but our flight will be landing first in a province/city different from the destination province/city stated in our COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) before connecting us to the next flight taking us to the destination province/city.
Please what is the consequence of this stopover on our documentations and subsequent settlement processes at the destination province/city?

It should be fine as long as you have a connecting flight. Just show then your flight details. If they question you then just tell then it was cheaper or easier. As long as you have the connecting flight booked I don't see why there should be a problem. N congrats

Agreed. No bad consequences. Lots of people do this when they are landing and it's perfectly normal. Since you have connecting flights to your final destination, there's nothing to worry about.
