ok i have a few questions about what qualifies you to be eligible for conjugal sponsorship,

i worked in canada for 3 years i met my girlfriend a year before i left, me and my girlfriend moved in together and lived together for 10months , sharing bills ,rent ..everything, i have already applied for permanent residency but because i got laid off work then my company would not renew my immigration paperwork despite my best efforts they terminated my employment. when this happened my lawyers went official and added it into my permanent residency account rendering my application useless ..it will not get picked as the points are now way to low. obviously my girlfriend didn't want this and offered to sponsor me, since we lived together for 10 months , she is a canadian citizen , and we have full intentions of living together , buying a house together and were both financially independent would this qualify us to claim sponsorship under conjugal sponsorship?

any information on this would be a great help since its a bit of a grey area I'm stressing out about it since i had to leave my girlfriend and her daughter and i need a way to live there with them both again. hope someone can help me.

First of all - you should be posting this question to the Family Sponsorship section of the forum.

To answer your question - no, you do not qualify under conjugal. In order for your girlfriend to sponsor you, you must either get married first or live together continuously for a full year to become common law.

Conjugal is reserved for people who cannot get married and who also cannot live together for a year to become common law. You obviously don't face these barriers. So if you submit a conjugal application, it will be refused.

You need to either get married or live together for one year uninterrupted before you apply.
