Conjugal sponsorships are the ones that are more difficult,
considering that you should feel comfortable that everything is moving,
slow as can be expected buy everything seems to be moving forward...

Wait is the only thing that can be done and understand that this type of sponsorship
are the ones that take more time.....

But remain optimist because everything is working for good....

EBUENCONS, you had the passport request in May 2014?

Yes jerryca it was last May 13,2014.and im till waiting for updates.by the way were same sex couple.

EBUENCONS don't be dismayed by the long wait. Conjugal applications are one of the most complicated cases to deal with, as they have to see if you truly fit the profile of a conjugal partner. At least when you sent ur passport, you should be near the final stages now.

Have you ordered GCMS notes on your case lately?

not yet mikeymyke,..3 weeks ago the visa officer called me and informed me that my representative was suspended as of the moment for some reasons.so he told me that starting from now they will email me directly for updates on my application or if ever they need additional docs or if my application has been already finalized and i just have to email them if i have concerns,he also told me to check my email from now and then, and i had a chance to ask him whats goin on with my application and he told me that its already in line for review and just check my email from time to time.

I think you should just order one set of notes, just for peace of mind. It doesn't hurt at all, only $5. Only reason I say is because they haven't put you "In Process" yet.

Hey Mikeymyke, did you and your partner file under conjugal class? Also, it looks to me like you were able to get a TRV while you were waiting for the PR.

No we filed under spousal sponsorship, we were married. Yes we got a TRV while waiting for PR, despite her being from a high risk overstay country (Vietnam) and her being married to me. We got it because we sent in a very detailed and thorough TRV application, addressed any red flags, sent lots of documents, etc.

Hope to hear goodnews this week !!!
