my sister have a Canadian citizenship who father her 4 kids for 11yrs , lived together as friend before he immigrated to Canada. leaving them alone in Nigeria. Can my sister qualify under common law partner with conjulated relationship, can the kid derivate residency and citizenship as father naturalized as Canadian. pls help on what form to be filed for sister and kids

So you sister lived with the father of her children before immigrating to Canada for 11 years? Did she land in Canada as single or common law? Did she declare the children as non accompanying when she applied?

thanks for reply. My sister still live in Lagos Nigeria. Her husband lived in Canada, Naturalized citizen of Canada. All the children were born out of wedlock. what benefit can all accrued. can the mother get Conjugal relationship classification and the kid resident or citizenship

Were the children born before he gained citizenship? If not, how old are they and did he declare them when he came to Canada? We’re they medically examined? What is the current relationship between your sister and the father? Is he married again?
