Conjugal Partnership Processing Time

They are typically quite complicated because the conjugal status is hard to prove. A complete and "normal" spousal application is supposed to take 12 months, more or less, but because conjugal is so complicated, you can expect it to take a little longer - unless you are clearly eligible for conjugal status on the face of it.
Thank you for your response. Here is my situation.
My girlfriend is a Canadian citizen and we’ve been together a little over 3 years. I am in the Philippines where it’s too religious and obviously non an open country for same sex relationships or marriage. We are trying to apply for conjugal partnership. We have all the proofs listed on the document checklist but I’d like to know the chances of getting approved or is this the best route to go.
My girlfriend have flown two times to visit me for the past 3 years. I just would like to know if you are familiar with the things that the officers are really looking into to approve our application.

If you haven't applied for a TRV you may not qualify immediately for conjugal partner status, because there has to be an immigration barrier between you and your partner. Without a TRV refusal, there is no obvious barrier. You could still get a Canadian visa.
