hi all,
I know that the IRCC assess your NOC experience by the job duties stated in your employment reference.
But I wonder if certifications and recognition from engineering body can help (I am an engineer).
If yes they can help, how can I get those certificates assessed? I cannot send them to ECA, as they are not part of my education.
Which Canadian body should I send them to?
Many thanks!

Have you tried WES? If they are not asking for it, then there is no need. Providing supporting documents is one thing, jamming your application with unnecessary documents is another!

Stick around for more answers.

All the best,

You can include copies of those certifications with your employment documentation (esp. if you have foreign work experience as an Engineer).

But if you're referring to Canadian work experience - they really cannot consider foreign certification, you would need Canadian certification (if you wanted to claim to be a P. Eng; if you don't claim that, you don't need it). The use of the P.Eng title is regulated at the provincial level, so you'd have to find the organization that certifies engineers in your province. For example, in Ontario, it is -

But again, you do not need to be Canadian-certified to work in many engineering jobs, only those that are specific to P. Eng.
