Confusion in applying SP for low IELTS Score

I have received conditional offer letter from Concordia University for MEng in Industrial Engineering (2 years) for winter 2021. Since my IELTS score is overall 6 (not less than 6 in each band, writing 6.5) I have to complete 1 qualifying course in the university. To waive this course I have to appear 6.5 overall. That's why I am going to seat for IELTS again in this month. But before that I want to apply for SP. I am in confusion is this condition will hinder my SP application? I will mention in SP that I couldn't seat for IELTS for covid situation and will seat for IELTS soon. Please suggest me.

U should ask someone who faced this problem.. don't go by words of someone unknown..i can say that u can apply for ur study permit with that score for sure..

Ur score is a problem for ur University ..but that score may not be a problem for embassy ..if they mentioned it in ur LOA that ur score is a problem than it can cause trouble but if not then it's fine ..just my opinion

Yes you need the IELTS score because the acceptance you have is conditional. You need to show IRCC that you have fulfilled the condition

Conditional acceptance and prerequisite courses
If you’ve been conditionally accepted, this means you need to take prerequisite courses. For example, these might be English as a second language or French as a second language courses. You must complete these before you can start your main study program.

If this is the case, we’ll only issue your study permit for the length of those courses plus 1 year. Once you’re accepted into your main program, you’ll need to apply for a new student permit to extend your stay as a student.

This is written in CIC website. According to above information, couldn't I get the study permit for one year?

Could you post the conditions given in your Letter of Acceptance? This will give more clarity on the requirement
