Confusion ? for 3/5 or 4/6

That's what...I need to delay my application for another 6months...just to makeup 1095 days..if the new rule comes in..I will definately have to wait for another yr..cos of new rule anyhow..1460. I hope Govt. adds more clarification to whatever new rules they make..cos every applicant have something. Even the Govt knows that since every one is an Immigrant (thats why they are PR) they must be having families abroad and they would want to visit them as well.

I am not sure, if visiting family abroad is still relaxed when counting days against citizenship..

Do you mean 6 months from now or 6 month from june time frame? You may still make it if you qualify with 1095 days in July (6 months from now) although you be pushing it.

How come, I will qualify if I am missing 6 months [Under Old(Current Rule)] ?

starting August 2012 - August 2015 = 1095 days [excluding 183 days]

So that means that you will be eligible to apply according to the current rule 3/4 in Feb/2016.... ( because you have to compensate your absence of 6 months). By the end of this year the new rule 4/6 will be already enforced.

yeah...and this means...I would have to wait for another yr..lolz Unless things don't change for some..!
