Hi all. I worked for one year from 2010 to 2011 and currently have been working from 2014 to date all in the same profession. Does this count as 3 years working experience.

Expert answers needed. Thanks

Are you work Full Time 30 hours/week for 12 months (1,560 hours)? if so, that's means you have 1 year full time work experience.

It would be better if you could specify both month and year. IRCC calculates from Month to Month and not year to year.

e.g If you worked for a company from Dec 2010 to October 2011 that won't be counted as 1 year. It will be only counted as 11 months.

What do they mean by the work experience must be continuous? For instance, I worked from Feb 2010 to Feb 2011 for my industrial training while in school and Ive been working from may 2014-date.. Can this count as 3 years experience?? What does the term "continous" mean here?

Work experience has to be "atleast" one year in full time (if you're under FSW) which you already have.
Feb 2010-Feb 2011 is 1 year (which country is this from?)

May 2014-May2016 is 2 years. You have 3 work experience (You were paid for the period of Feb 2010-2011 and have the pay slips). I'm not 100% for that period as it was your INDUSTRIAL TRAINING.
Better wait for other people to answer this :)

Without telling us how many hours you worked per week, it is not possible to say if it adds up to 3 years or not.

As far as the dates go, it sounds like it should be 3 years but only if you worked 30+ hours during that time.
