Hi, Everyone
I,m working from march 2012 for my work experience, but now in month of december, my work is kinda of slow. Therefore, im only getting 20 to 30 hours per week. It is expected to stay like this for the whole month. So im confused whether i should stay with my job or do something else to stay eligible.

Please i need ur advice asap. One more thing is that im working from the first day of work permit, and i have work permit upto 2015 april.

Thanks

It's ok I think. Your job is to stay in duty in that time right? is like the fireman they might not work everyday but they are on duty 24 hrs.

Now what matters is gonna be the letter in the end where it says that your job was a full time, and if they can also would be good they show the number of hours worked.

cheers.

Part time work is also allowed under CEC, as long as you meet the total work exp. requirement. Under graduate stream, you need 1950 hours AND one year work experience. If you are working part time for a few months, just cover up the remaining hours later on. Do not apply in March 2013 if you have worked part time in few months ... just wait until you have completed 1950 hours before you apply.

Also, I am assuming your job is skilled. If not, then regardless of the hours, it will not be counted towards CEC.

Also, for those months when you are working full time, do not count more than 37.5 hours/week when calculating your total hours.

Thnks alot for ur advice and i have one more question about my job is that the job responsibilities are matching the noc. Still i am not totally sure, so should i keep working with the job or what are the other options for me right now. Because, if my file got rejected than i will not have enough to move and start sll over again.

Thanks
