In late December I submitted a study permit application, after realising it was missing information I foolishly requested to withdraw the application using the web form instead of submitting a request to amend the application. I thought it would be a quick and straightforward process and that the application would be cancelled soon, allowing me to submit a new one. After further research I’m finding out that it could be months until my application is cancelled.
My program of study starts in September 2021. Am I able to submit a new application, with the help of an expert, before the old one is withdrawn? Will the new application be able to be processed immediately or will it be stuck in limbo until the old one is dealt with? If it helps I’m applying from the UK. I understand I’ve rushed this process and I’m just looking for a way to rectify my errors and ensure I am able to begin study in September as I know I meet all the criterion for a study permit.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer, I’d really appreciate any kind of guidance.
