confused with visitor extension processing time?

Can someone explain to me how processing is calculated and roughly how much longer do we have to wait on decision? we sent extension application for my husband in mid may,i checked the CIC processing times and it says working on applications only from march 8TH? the site was updated on the 26th of June and it says processing time is 109 days? does this mean 109 days from being sent? so confused.thanks

109 days from the time the application is received by CIC.

thanks scylla ..so does that mean when it was signed with signature?(i received signature confirmation on the 13th of may. that will give my husband another month or more if calculations are correct?
