Hi all
Confuse with FSW2 and FSW Category 1
What is the difference?

I thought FSW2 was for application with arranged employment, yet the CIC website says the following -

Application category

Choose the Category in the table below which corresponds to your situation. This chart describes the two categories available to you.

Category 1

You have an offer of arranged employment in Canada. The employment offer should:

be in writing,
be indeterminate in duration, and
meet the arranged employment requirements described in this guide.

As per my understanding FSW were classified to 3 categoris such as :

FSW Category 1 – This is a category for application filed under one of the " eligible occupations" as skilled worker who had at least one year of experience within 10 years preceding the submission of an application under one or more of the specific high-demand occupations.

FSW Category 2 – the application is submitted with an Arranged Employment Offer consistent with requirements of subsection R82 (2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR).

FSW Category 3 - foreign national living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or international student.

I am not aware of any changes to above.
