confused.... where to send passport for visa stamping ?

Hi everyone,

I have completed my post grad diploma in canada and applied for PR, mean time my work permit and visa got expired so i applied for bridging work permit.

Now just before leaving to india for vacation, I got approval for my bridging work permit. so , i thought i can apply for visa in my home country india to come back to canada.

problem here is while applying in IMM5257 for the questions

Q9 Country or Territory where applying: Same as current country or territory - YES
Q7 Current country of residence CANADA( as im staying in canada from last 2 years and only came to india for vacation)

now im in india and i got approved for visa and i want to send my passport for stamping but according to questions i answered at the time of application i have send my passport to canada

i got the letter saying that i have to send my passport according to the Q7 and Q9

In your application form, if you have answered:

1. Yes to question 9, use the country/territory you provided to question 7
2. No to question 9, use the country/territory you provided to question 9

can someone help me how to get stamping in india ?

I think you can submit your passport to New Delhi or Chandigarh office as these are main branches in Punjab

Send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with the relevant details of your application (app number, passport, name, etc.) and request to have it stamped while you are in India.
