Hello

Im new here though i have already spent quite a lot of hours reading on this forum and many other websites and trying to find the proper answers to my questions. I couldnt find anything other than getting even more confused so I decided to register and explain my situation here.

I am sure the answer is somewhere out there but i just cant seem to find it. I apologize if its seems like a common question too...
I am just writting hoping that someone will be kind enough to offer me some help and advise. im totally confused by the amount of information and different opinions and possibilites available.

I will keep my email real short so its easy to answer:
To sum up my personnal situation:
-Im 26 Im from France
-I was a full time student for one year in Montreal back in 2006
-I have been working with the same company for the past 3 years and a half now here in France (admin, sales, intl business)
-I would like to move to Canada and live there permanently
-I am interested in living somewhere in Ontario
-I have never worked in Canada so i have no experience there
-I am perfectly fluent in English / French
-My highest diploma is the french baccalaureate as i havent finished college after the one year in Montreal

What would be the easiest way for me to move to Canada?
i hear about the PR then i hear about skilled workers or skilled workers in Quebec then about temporary working visa then about the one year visa (PVT) etc etc
I am just so confused with all the different options and do not know which one would suit my situation.

What is it that i can apply to in order for me to live in Canada?
I am ready to start the application process right away but dont know what to do.
I know it is a long process but i would like to find the best way to end up in Canada

ps: going back to school isnt an option for me
I am also willing to apply in Quebec if that would improve my chances (though im looking at moving in Ontario)

Thank you so very much for your help!! : )

If you want to live in Ontario, then the Federal Skilled Worker program is probably your best bet. This program will start accepting applications again (for applicants without job offers in Canada) on May 4th. Join the following thread to learn more about the requirements:

thanks so much for the quick answer.....i will read this thread carefully
im afraid i dont meet the 67 points minimum requirements though....

quick question as its confusing me a lot:

For the Federal skilled worker program requirements.... By work experience, does it refer to work done stricly in Canada or can experience from your home country work too?

thanks for any answer on this!!
