My husband is PR holder and we are from Pakistan.
He applied OUTLAND to sponsor me. At that time I was pregnant so my X-Rays were skipped and I was given a defer letter by the panel.
My husband sent our application with all completed forms and supporting documents to Mississauga in March 2013. We worked on forms and related stuff for 5 months and then we sent the application to assure that no loophole is left.
Till that time we have got nothing from CIC, not even AOR, no email, and no call, nothing... Our courier tracking shows that file was received after 2 days of posting.
I gave birth to a baby in April.
Now we want to update CIC about baby and sent them my x-rays report as well.
BUT we have nothing in hand to merge with…

What should be done now? I am just so confused and tensed.

Hello dear

If your husband has a UCI number (UCI is unique client identifier) the one he actually has with his PR then he may use it to see if your case has been looked after by CIC by simply checking the Online Services here: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=

Regards

Also, since your husband is a PR he will be in Canada which means he can call the CIC call center.

1 888 242 2100(might be 1 800, can't remember, but the rest is right)

He simply needs to ask if they have anything in the system. They will ask him to verify his identity with various personal questions. Since he will already have his own UCI he can give that as well.

Hope you hear back soon!

Take Care
