Hello everyone. I apologize if this topic was already brought up, or if I messed up with forum category.

I have a goal of getting PR by:
1) completing 8 months/1 academic year study program
2) getting PGWP for an year
3) getting 12 months of work experience, as demanded here

But I'm not sure about second step. It is said here, that PGWP can't be longer than study program. Thus, in my case, I'll get PGWP for 8 months, and I won't be able to get 12 months of work experience with it.

So, do I get something wrong, or is it just plain impossible to get PR via 1 academic year study program?

Low chance of PR with just a 1 year PGWP. If your goal is PR, take a 2 year program so that you qualify for a 3 year PGWP.
