hi everyone.

This might have been asked before but I'm only asking again because I couldn't find the answer to my problem.

I'm an Iranian but I've been pursuing my bachelors degree in China for the past 5 years, therefore I've been living here as well :) ( big surprise)

But I have already applied twice for study permit and have been refused both applications . Those two refusals had one thing in common and it was " weak family ties in the country of residence ".

I should also mention that I chose china as country of residence on my application as I was told the country of residence is where I am currently residing. The thing is in fact I don't have family ties here because I'm not from here . Only a Student.

Now I'm applying one last time for a study permit and was wondering if I should choose Iran as country of residence and China as the country where I'm applying from ?

Any other input or suggestions are appreciated.

Thx
