conflict between degree completion date and work Start date plz clarify!

Hi,

I am about to submit my PR profile (e-apr)(Inland CEC applicant) . i found that i have mentioned my degree completion date as OCT 2014 . however i completed my course in August 2014 itself . i mentioned OCT 2014 because that was when i got my degree on hand (convocation) .

thing i started my first work in Canada on Sept 22 2014 so this conflicts with my degree completion date ..

do you guys think its understandable that there is some time between course completion date to that of the date in which degree is awarded //

or do i need to change the date as aug 2014 ?

You are allowed to work as long as you started working after you completed your course requirements and applied for a PWGP. Since you finished your course Aug 2014, and started working after you applied for PGWP (i assume), you're okay.

Many times people defer their degree ceremonies because of conflicts like vacations etc. So they get their degrees the next time

I am in the same situtation. Got study completion letter in march 2016 but convocation in June 2016. How was your PR appplication?

I have same issue diploma awarded 2016 and convocation Jan 2017 and course completion send date from college is 2017 February
