Background - I'm American/Canada, husband is American. We currently live in the US but will move to get closer to my family in Toronto mid/late next year hopefully.

The process is so confusing but I made a list of what I think is everything we need to send to the processing center in Mississauga. Let me know if I'm missing anything. Thanks!

Payment:
Money Order of $550 CAD (where can I get a MO in CAD in the US?)

Forms:
Application to Sponsor
Sponsorship Evaluation
Sponsor Questionnaire
Generic Application Form for Canada
Schedule A - Background
Spouse/Partner Questionnaire

Copies/Prints:
Photocopy of my Canadian Citizenship and/or Canadian Passport
Photography of marriage license
Identify documents for husband (Passport? Do we need any other documents?)
Proof of relationship (pictures, joint bank statements, anything else I would need?)

Others:
Police certificate for husband
Medical examination proof for husband
4 photos for husband
Proof of moving (copies of job applications for jobs in Canada, letter from parents in Toronto stating that we can live there until we find a place, do I need anything else?)

First of all, you are using the Outland Application forms right? (applications for US applicants Outland generally take 4-6 months to approve--so your husband will probably land before you move here)

Second - You can pay the fee online....not sure about money orders... you might be able to get them at the post office, but there is a limit. If you go that route, make sure to bring the rules with you on what CIC requires.

Make sure you have the document check lists and follow them--it will explain what you need for identity and all forms need. As far as other items to include. You want to provide as much as you can to prove your relationship is genuine and continuing. Note that a marriage certificate doesn't prove a marriage.
I provided screenshots from facebook of significant posts that included both of us over the 5 years we were dating...movie stubs, our wedding itinerary we gave guests, trip airline tickets, other things like that.

With your pictures, make sure you've included a lot of the two of you together in the photo as well as some that have family and friends with you in the photos.

You should be paying the fees in full, $1040, and you should pay online.

At a glance, you are missing the Document Checklist, Additional Family Information and the applicant's country-specific checklist.

I got my forms from Guide 3999 - Sponsorship of a spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner or dependent child living outside Canada. I'm assuming that's outland forms?

Also, we have been together a long time and have traveled together too so we do have a bazillion pictures together, just us, with family, and with friends so we'll prob try to print out a variety including wedding pictures. We might also have the wedding planner contract somewhere too so if we can possibly include that too.

If I pay online I just include the receipt in the application?

Also, I was looking at the online payment and the $1040 would include:
75 sponsorship application
475 principal applicant
490 right of permanent residence fee

How would I know if I need a transitional provision?

Also for the additional family information form, do I only need to fill it out for husband's information or do I need to fill it out too?

Yes, you just include the receipt. Transitional fees would not apply to you.

It is an applicant form.
