Hello,
I applied under the Express Entry Scheme as the primary applicant and my wife as the dependent applicant.
However, I received the COPR Email (titled ‘Ready for Visa’) in my email account addressed to my wife (the dependent applicant) stating that the passport needs to be submitted to VFS for stamping of the Visa. The email mentions the UCI number of my wife (the dependent applicant) and the Express Entry Application number .
I submitted both mine as well my wife’s passport to VFS basis the email received which was duly accepted and an acknowledgment receipt was given by VFS for the same.
However, recently I came across the requirement on CIC website that on landing in Canada, both the applicants need to show the COPR email along with the visa. I do not have an email addressed to me (the primary applicant) mentioning my UCI number.
I am not sure what to do as we will receive our Passports stamped with the Canadian Visa. Please guide if I need to approach any authority to get this rectified or just this one email addressed to my wife (the dependent applicant) is enough for both of us to land in Canada.
Thanks in advance.
