I got an offer letter from Univ of Regina, unconditionally.

However, i got the offer letter from Univ of Saskatchewan, conditionally.

The condition is, I will have to show all my original transcripts to the university upon my arrival in Canada.

However, Im told that U of Saskatchewan is slightly better reputed than U of Regina.

So, I'm double minded about which university should I go with for my study permit? Would there be issues with CHC ISL if I went with U of Saskatchewan?

The embassy can ask for unconditional letter ....later at any stage...

Why does a CAD Univ issue an conditional offer letter in the first place knowing the embassy's workings?

However, there was a long note written on the offer letter itself by the university , like this unconditional offer letter will automatically be converted into conditional one upon showing my original transcripts. When If I could send attested photocopies of my original transcripts then of course I had originals as well, simply no brainer.

So I guess, I'd be better off with U of Regina since the Embassy does not care about applicant's time. As in Nomi's case which is a living proof.

I think One case of Arsalan is delayed due to conditional letter , they asked for it and gave him visa after he submitted unconditional letter...so don't take a chance...

Yes this is conditional and embassy can ask u for unconditional letter, ask ur previous college / university to attest photocopy of ur degree and transcript and seal it and send it to Concordia , then the Concordia university will give u an updated in unconditional letter...

Actually , I already send them attested..along with the official sealed transcripts...to concordia..univ.. but i didnt ask them about d unconditional letter..as i dnt know embassy will needed it....
These are my conditions :--

Your acceptance is contingent upon presentation of original documented proof of your B.TECH. degree conferred / granted from Punjab Technical University. You must present this along with (complete/clear) photocopies to Student Academic Services (1515 St. Catherine St. West, EV2.125) prior to the commencement of your studies at Concordia.

Well, at least in Pakistan when you are going to apply for a study visa, you are going to submit all originals as well as photocopies. So, wouldn't visa officer have a look at the originals and see if they aren't originals or not?

Also, our condition is not like if some documents were missing like if im currently enrolled into a school and has not provided a transcript or something. Every student need to show their academic proof/transcripts before registering for their course upon arrival in Canada.

what do u guys think?

ask ur previous institution to issue u new transcript in sealed envelop and send it to uni. i think only attested copies will not work even if they r in sealed envelop.

Hay mine also got conditional offer letter from University of Ottawa...

Condition is submit official proof of Degree....

As per their instruction I submitted my official proof of diploma.......after wards I forward a mail to release unconditional offer letter for my case...but they replayed via mail that you had meet the condition in your offer and you can now register the course....but they didn't issue the new offer letter....they mentioned they release only LOA to student don't issue any other things.... is this mail conversation thing is ok for visa officer that I had removed the condition in ma offer...

First of all, if you are a 12 grade student in Pakistan, colleges do not issue a new transcript. It is Karachi Board/Punjab Board/etc that issues original transcripts. Original is issued only one time. When ever you ask for a new one, it will always be called a duplicate one. The word Duplicate will be printed on the transcript itself. Normally, students ask for a duplicate if they have lost/misplaced their original one. That's how it works in Pakistan. I can't speak of how it works in other countries.
