Please reply to this who all are taking admissions in concordia university for SEP 2013 intake.
Did you all receive any notification from the university. What all we required and what is the last date for submission of documents.

I got the Admission offer on 8th Feb from Concordia University - MEngg in Quality systems Engg program -- Fall Sep'13

Document received on 14th Jan.

But it is mention on website that last date is 15 feb, only after that they will start working on application. Could you please provide me yours IELTS Academic scores. Also , did you provide reference letters sealed directly from the referee or you have managed on your own?
And the transcript, what all is included in transcript.?

Yes, Now the Deadline is over for International Applicants for Sep 13'Intake as per the website

IELTS - 8.0

Reference Letters (LOR) - 2 Academics LOR on college letter head from my College Professors at Senior post and 1 Professional Reference Letter issued from my Employer/supervisor duly signed and sealed inside envelope

Transcripts - Got issued from my University ( not College ) in specific format ( vary Univ to Univ ) duly signed and sealed by Registrar

is it possible that in the initial stage of admission i can submit the copies of transcript and reference letter. Once I get approved I will send them the original one. Like as mentioned to submit the application deadline was Feb 15, however I can submit the original documents, by end of March.
And are you from India?

Yes, I am from India.

You need to apply online first and then submit your documents. I am not sure whether they would accept your Application now for review or not but even if they does, it is possible to get the conditional offer and they will mention the Documents which you are supposed to provide by the Deadline date.

Thank you for the information. I have already sent the documents(Copy) to university. Waiting for their reply. If they agreed, its Ok otherwise I have to send again the original one. Did you send the original mark sheets and degree to university. And what about the visa. Have you filled the visa application.?

if u have transcripts why not send transcripts ......u can scan and upload transcripts when u apply online and later send ur transcripts. I believe u know transcripts r not ur marksheets. u do not get these transcripts back however they require official transcripts.

u need letter of reference signed and sealed and signed again on the flaps of envelop(Confidential Reference Letters)...if the ones u have sent r not acceptable they will ask for original ones but from experience i would say they will not accept copies.

1. DHL (India) is the best way to courier docs. Very efficient service, Cost around Rs. 1100 (student discount) with online tracking number. Around 3 working days.
2. Registered Post (India Post) cost around Rs. 545, "very risky", absolutely NO guarantee (Highly recommended to avoid it even if they offer free service.)

Hi Friends,

I also got offer for MEng in ECE for Fall 2013. I have just heard that Canadian VISA officials are only considering IELTS and not TOEFL for VISA stamping. I mean why do they have any problem if the university has given me admission on the basis of my TOEFL score. Don't know if it is just a rumor but a bit worried.

Also, I had a confusion. I also got admit from Dalhousie for one year MACS course in Computer Science. So which one to go for ??

Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

What is the duration of PGWP after completing the Master program of 45 Credits from Concordia university.

As per my understanding it should be 3 years but if any one can confirm this....that would be helpful.

For Sep intake, What should be the ideal time to start to apply for CAQ and Visa
