Hi everyone and sorry for spamming posts, I'm currently freaking out and I have some questions regarding withdrawing an application. I promise this is the last post on this.
Context: I messed up my NOC code and submitted my PR application (CEC) on new years day. Realised my mistake last night by chance (from browsing this site). IRCC hasn't checked my file yet so I haven't been rejected (but that's 100% coming). I found out by myself. I sent an IRCC WebForm explaining, apologising and providing my new NOC code. I asked if they would be able to update it for me. I also resubmitted my employment documents with the correct NOC code.
I've seen that in some cases they will, but it's entirely a case by case basis.
If I don't hear back in 5 days, I will just withdraw and start over. Some questions/concerns below:
(1) I vaguely recall, when you have your medical exam and WES ECA, those services also inform IRCC of the results. If I'm right, how will this work if I withdraw and start over?
Medical exam and WES ECA is valid for 1 year and 5 years respectively, but, will they need to inform IRCC again? If so, do I have to contact these services and ask them to do so? OR do I just re-upload my medical exam and WES ECA and be done with it?
(2) Will I have to take biometrics again? I believe they're valid for 10 years but not 100% if I have to resubmit them if I re-apply.
(3) What's the process for withdrawing? I want to make sure I do this right, so that I'm able to re-apply with no issues.
(4) Is there anything negative that'll come from withdrawing? Example, do I have to inform IRCC I've submitted and withdrawn before?
Additional info, in case it helps: My open work permit expires in April, and I have a score of 489. Although I'm 31 now, so my score has probably dropped a little.
