Hi folks,

I have received my PR and it expires in June 2014. I have planned to come to Canada in April-May. Am waiting to save some more money from end of year bonus to come and Jan-March the winter will be hard for a first timer. That's why i opted for April-March. My concern is:

Is it a problem to take a bit long to land in Canada???

Will the immigration ask me reasons why the delay???

Will it somehow be an issue to enter Canada???

Thx

Do you mean that you have received your COPR document but have not yet used it?
If so, then you can land at any point up to the expiry date with no problems.

You can land whenever you want to as long as you land before the expiry date on your via. No - no one is going to ask why you waited. Again, as long as you land before the expiry date - you'll be fine.

thanks for your reply what is COPR document?

Was getting worried if the authorities might query..

That's the two sheets of paper that say you are allowed to become a permanent resident.
I assume that you have those? (It's probably the most important document of the lot and you must keep it.)
