Hi All,

My wife is Permanent resident of Canada.
I recently got my Spouse Immigrant Visa stamped and also got a work assignment of few months in USA on H1B.
I have planned to travel to Canada to complete my landing formalities and applying for my wife's H4 before going to job in USA.
I wont be able to spend more than 15 days in Canada and my wife will join me later in USA.
Will I face any issue in entering US from Canada?

is it so much complicated?

the thing is - you are asking questions about going to the US - and this forum is mostly with people going to Canada - so i suppose that's why nobody can answer your question...

to maintain your PR status you will need to stay 3 out of 5 years, but that's about the only thing I know about that... no idea about US regulations.

Good luck,
Sweden

You have a visa to enter the USA, so you should have no problem there. Keep in mind that you and your wife have only a limited time to stay in the USA. You say your work assignment is only a few months, so that should be no problem, but you do have to stay in Canada for 2 years out of every 5 to keep your PR status.
