Completed 6 Months

Hi Seniors and Friends....

Today I have completed 6 months in Canada... and everyday is teaching new things...

As it is only been 6 months, I have managed to get a job (better than a survival job).....

In short I can say..if you come with positive frame of mind...you can start good...and things only get better.. ;-)

Thanks, it would be quite better if you tell us the hardships you faced and how you tackled them. When you got your survival job. And How you came up with your current better than survival job. How much are the expenses?
Did your current job relates to your education and skills? and else you like to share.

I was fortunate to get a job in my field within 3days after landing... started at the base level but was promoted within a week.. I will not say it is my desired job, but yes, it is helping me a lot to choose the right track. As I can pick and choose from here, than just taking what comes my way.

I am in Ontario.......be ready to take-out 1500 CAD every month for a standard life (for two)...u may go below this but that means you are compromising a lot...

Once you have a survival job..start looking to enhance your skills as per Canadian standards...
