Anyone have time delays for common law applications inside Canada? Is it usually 12 months?

Can anyone share their experience with this sort of application? Difficulties, is it easy going? etc Thanks!

Anything important that should be added to the application?

It was around 12 months pre COVID-19. Probably closer to 18 months now.

Make sure you read and follow the application guide posted on the IRCC website.

Make sure all of your forms are complete and signed, and that you have provided sufficient evidence to prove 1 year of continuous cohabitation.
