Common Law Sponsorship

Good morning everyone, hope you are all doing well

I recently submitted my Common Law Sponsorship Application for Inland Canada and I have a few questions that if they could be answered would be appreciated.

1) From the time IRCC Mailroom receive your package how long does it normally take to find out if the Sponsor and the Applicant are eligible for the Sponsorship?

2) If successful with the sponsorship eligibility assessment how long does it normally take to receive your OWP (I included mine with my application for sponsorship)

With the packaging I put it into 4 envelopes, the first envelope contained Sponsors Forms and Supporting Documents, the second envelope contained Applicants Forms and Supporting Documents, the third envelope contained OPW Forms and Supporting Documents and the fourth envelope contained Proof of Relationship.

I also included the Document Checklist for the Sponsorship Application and the OWP as well as including my own Table Of Contents for each envelope.

If someone can tell me whether or not this is a sufficient or adequate amount of evidence for the relationship? There is a lot more than this as for each title there is a lot of information for each I just want to get an idea.

- Letters of Reference from each other's family members
- Proof of Residence at the same address i.e. Residential Lease, ID Documents showing same address, and Letters and Envelopes showing same address
- Joint Phone Account (Telus)
- Communication Records of us contacting each other
- Monthly transaction details from the bank showing relevant purchases made such as groceries, furniture, etc
- Love/Plane Letter
- Concert Tickets and Hockey Tickets which we attended
- Vacation information such as boarding passes, concert tickets, flight bookings, hotel confirmations, train tickets
- One Year Anniversary information such as hotel confirmation, and restaurant booking
- Valentine's Weekend information such as hotel confirmation, and restaurant booking
- Facebook Social Media Posts showing public relationship which friends and family interacting
- Receipts of purchases for gifts sent between each other
- Receipts of relevant purchases I.e. gas, groceries, furniture, restaurants, etc
- Photos from the relationship such as vacations taken together, dates, anniversary, birthdays, & with family.
- Greeting cards sent between each other and sent to us from each other's family.

Nobody can tell you if you've submitted enough evidence of your relationship, but if you have not, CIC will ask for more.

Did you include at least two notarized letters (Statutory Declaration) from family and/or friends? For a Common-Law sponsorship you need at least two, unless CIC has recently dropped that requirement.

We included 4 letters of reference from family members however they were not notarized as it did not state on the IRCC website that they are required to be. All it said was that letters from family or friends can be included.

The only things we got notarized were my personal statement, my sponsors personal statement, the statutory declaration of common law union as well as photocopies of identification documents such as passports, work permit, ID cards, etc which were all notarized by a Commissioner of Oath.

Is that good??

I guess they've dropped that requirement for Common-Law couples, unless your country specific guide requires them.

It used to be mandatory for all Common-Law couples.

All it says on the IRCC Common Law Document Checklist right at the bottom of the last page of the checklist​ it states that - Other Proof that your relationship is recognized by your friends and/or family e.g. letters, social media information showing a public relationship etc) it doesn't state anywhere that they must be notarized however it states that translations of documents must be notarized but that doesn't apply to me.
