Hi All,
Joining my partner in CA. We lived together in U.K. for 6 years. In 2015 we decided to move to CA she left firs to find a place for us to settle down and I carried on working in U.K. Finally I came and joined her in Aud 2016. My question is are we still considered common law even though we lived separate for a year? And what do we need to do so she can sponsor ? Can I get work permit after she starts sponsoring me?
I wonder if there is anyone in similar situation.
