Hey, I was a student here from January 2016 up till the 21st of July 2017, at which point my study and co-op work permit expired.
I dropped 2 courses over my two years of study and was accepted by the school into the September intake to complete my two courses so I may graduate in December 2017.
Due to a mix up with my extension of study and co-op visa I had to apply for a restoration of status as I am within 90 days of them expiring.
During my study here, I got a part-time job at a marijuana dispensary downtown Toronto and it was visited by the cops. I entered into a common law peace bond to avoid a charge or being convicted and have stayed away from dispensaries since.
Just wondering how this will affect my application for restoration of status.
Also if I leave Canada and come back while my restoration application is being processed will I be allowed back into the country on "implied status" till I get a response from CIC either approving, denying or asking for more information?
Any help on either of my questions would be greatly appreciated.
