hello everyone, is any body had exeperience about how to apply common law partner visa? Me and my bf not staying together for 12 consecutive month only 9 months because he went work at the boat for 4 months, but we share house and use same address in Vancouver. I am a bit confusing is this count or no? When he will come back meanwhile my student visa will expired. Thanks all

You aren't common law. To be considered as common law, you must live together continuously for a full 12 months. Short breaks are allowed (2-3 weeks). However four months is too long to be apart. CIC will most likely say you do not meet common law requirements.
