Hi,

I am applying under in-land common-law partner:

1- Can I start applying online before I enter Canada with my visitor visa?

2- What happens during the 4 months of the work permit process? Am I eligible to work?

3- Can I still be able to leave Canada and come back with my visitor visa?

4- What happens if I was asked a medical exam for my children who live abroad with their mother?

5- Where are the biometrics given in Canada?

Thank you

1. You can, but there's really no point. All forms have to be printed and mailed in.
2. No - you are not eligible to work during the four months. You have to wait until the OWP is approved.
3. You should limit travel outside of Canada as much as possible. Having an eligible TRV does not guarantee you will be admitted back to Canada. Also, the inland process requires you to be living inside of Canada with your spouse.
4. Your children need to complete the medical in their home country as instructed.
5. You can get biometrics done at a port of entry.
