Hello, dear forum members!

My GF and I have completed an EE profile and received LOI from a province. She is the main applicant, I am her common-law partner (we have been together for more than 10 years). Now we decided to get officially married. The question is - should we change our EE profile or is it better to provide a letter of explanation in case we will get a nomination? Will it cause any quistions? Will we face any problems if we change our status?

Thank you for your advice, really appreciate it.

If you get married before getting an ITA and can change your profile, you should change it.
