Hi,

I want to apply for Express Entry programme with my girlfriend with whom I have been living for 5 months. I want to know if it is possible to apply as Common in Law by providing as proof the rental leasing and photos?

Thanks

To qualify as common law, you should be living together at least for a year.

We have been common law for almost 6 years and we are still struggling to come up with enough evidence! Wait another 7 months, then you can apply as common law. Build up a case now and keep every letter addressed to the both of you.

Dig up cards you'll have given to each other, photos of holidays together, tenancy agreements, bills set up on the same address.

My wife and I had to prove the genuineness of our marriage in the UK, we had saved envelopes of Christmas cards that we received and they had the posting dates. We even took print outs of our facebook check-ins, itemised mobile phone bills to show phone calls to each other and the duration and regularity of each call.

I think it's also trying to get it all into 4mb as well.

We have 4 leases from different address', joint bank statements from 3 accounts... we do have the proof, but how the hell do you get it into 4mb??

Currently at a compressed file of 8.2mb. Not sure how I'm going to get it down further.

Can you print it and re-scan it all in low res as one document?
