I’ve heard there’s a case that they didnt live together and didnt have any joint account or anything but they filed their text messages over 1yr and got granted.
Is it really possible?
My bf and i have been together for 2 years but never lived together. I wonder if we give it a shot like they did with texts or we just should start to make an actual proof(lease or joint account or bill)
Thanks!

This isn’t true. You actually need quite a bit of proof that you lived together for a year to prove you are common law. It is actually common to be asked to provide more proof.

If you've never lived together, don't try to file common law. Misrepresentation - including saying you lived together when you didn't - could result in serious repercussions including getting banned.

Either actually live together or get married.
