Hello all,

i am new to this so bear with me. I live in the Uk with my 2 kids and would like to immgrate to Canada with both of them. I have family that lives in Canada and also a boyfriend. my family includes my father , aunt and cousins. I am 44 years and my kids are 15 and 12. Which i sthe best possible way for me nad my kids can do this.

Thank you in advance

Is your boyfriend a Canadian citizen or a Canadian permanent resident? If so, then the easiest way for you to immigrate is for your boyfriend to sponsor you as his spouse. To qualify to sponsor you as his spouse, you must either be married or common law (common law means you have lived together for a minimum of one full year).

Unfortunately your family members in Canada cannot sponsor you.

If your b.f is Canadian citizen than ask him to come down to U.K or you goto Canada on Visit visa, get married and than he can sponsor your for permanent residence visa,or try to find out a job in Canada and get work permit and move there.

Thank you both, i have visted Canada early this year. He is a resident and have lived there since he was 14. I am goin through a divorce here in the UK.
Do i have to live with him in Canada

No - you can live with him anywhere. As long as you have lived together somewhere for one full year then you will qualify under common law.
