College not providing extension

Hi
I have received passport request and sent my passport for stamping. My classes started on 8 September ,2021. But i have not received my passport yet. I have paid all the tution fees .And,my college is not providing online classes and not having january or may intake as well. My college gave me extension by 21 September.however, i might get late because of not having travel documents .. I would reach my college as sooon as possible.but college is not providing more extension.
my question is that
Should I request my college to give me extension, or I should change my dli

You said your college is not giving an extension so you need to be in Canada by the 21. If you change DLI, you need a new study permit.
