College decisions

Hi! I'm deciding to study in Canada. But I can only study in North Bay due to personal reasons. For now I only have known Canadore College but I would like to know more options.
Also, I'd like to know how can I get more opportunities to get a sccholarship...I've heard that if you excel at an activity (like sports) you can have more opportunities.

Nippising university. Canada doesn’t me give out sports scholarships very often because Canadian universities aren’t into sports like they are in the US. Unless doing a PhD or perhaps certain masters programs you are unlikely to be able to get a scholarship. The money masters and PhD students get is often because they do some teaching or grade tests.

You should do some research about whether you would be eligible to apply for a permit as a PhD student based on your past studies. Google is your friend.
