closed work permit with no restriction-can study?

Dear All,

Greetings for the Day!!!
Thai Massage Therapist and got 2 years of work permit and the remarks and conditions section was empty - not filled so I guess no conditions can I upgrade and go for RMT massage Therapy course in this situation would I need to change work permit to study permit or is it ok to study and work at the same time as no conditions were imposed.

It doesn't quite work that way.

The short answer is that you can study without a study permit provided the entire length of the program is less than six months. If it's more than six months, you need a study permit.

Again, the conditions on your work permit are irrelevant.

What matters is Canada's rules with regards to studying. Again, if the program is greater than six months you need a study permit. Studying without a study permit is illegal.

Yes - if you apply for a study permit you'll once again become a student and will only be able to work 20 hours per week.

Also note that you can only get a post graduate work permit once. So since you've gotten one - you can never get one again.
