Closed Work Permit Extension

Hello everyone,

My first post here so good to meet everyone!

I am currently in Canada on a Temporary Work Permit (Closed) which is LMIA exempt. It expires January 2021 and whilst applying for PR I have also been looking at extending my current visa.

Has anyone ever done this? If so, how easy is it to extend an LMIA exempt TWP?

EE score is 462 but worrying that I won't get an ETA before the end of the year with the points as high as they are at the moment. I am also looking at OINP as an alternative

How do you know that your work permit is LMIA exempt?
extend is the same way you apply for TWP. Your visa extension is nothing to do with your EE profile until you get EOI or PR.

can you please share more details on 462 score . How much is your IELTS score? If you job offer is LMIA exempted, you will get 50 points. did you check that?

were those 462 points included with those 50 points?
