Hey!

does anyone know ...

when you are a refugee you get a client ID number...

and when you apply for sponsorship you get an UCI client id...

my husband was a failed refugee, and now im applying to sponsor him as my common-law

will his refugee client ID and UCI from sponsorship be the same number or different??

thanks!!

It will be the same... u can probably use it now to log on and see status of old file

Hello everyone,
Just a quick clarifications/question in regards to this "UCI/Client id" topic.

I'm filling in the IMM forms for my spouse and wondering what to put under my UCI/Client id in IMM1344E, question 7b)?
I became a citizen in 2000, and don't recall having any UCi/Client ID number.
What does it look like?
What do I put in there ( I figure, can't leave it blank ;)

thanks

If it is there on anything you have it will be in the format ####-####. Perhaps on your old PR papers if you have/or ever had those.

If you don't remember it. That's okay. My husband had one and we left it blank because we couldn't find it at the time.

Usually the client I'd is all numbers and looks like this xxxx-xxxx

:)

All I had was 'PR' visa number that was not in the format of xxxx-xxxx but rather letter than 9 digits (it resembles the sin number).
I guess the best bet is then to leave it blank and hope it won't impede with the processing of the application
thanks

I thought you are done...

No. We are not done, we are on the last step. Than they might ask for an arc. We dunno yet. Were waiting for the embassy to receive the final police check.
